I can't speak as someone who likes Glee, but I can speak as someone who watches it. In short, I have become attached to (most of) the characters and I want them to be treated with a respect that the writers do not give them. Tbh, the Glee fandom is the only fandom I've been in that is completely self loathing. We have no faith in the writers and at this point expect to be offended and disappointed with each new episode. I would not be surprised if many leave as the characters grad. this season.

…All in all, its a complicated, self-deprecating relationship. It’s akin to (or in this episode literally) watching a car crash and you just can’t look away. It’s awful.

I can understand that! Thanks for responding. I totally understand what it’s like to watch a train wreck of a show (see- torchwood).
